David em Brentwood e novidades sobre GOATS

No dia 26, David Duchovny parecia bem relax ao ser clicado em Brentwood, LA.

Em entrevistas anteriores, Duchovny comentou que tinha mais um projeto, intitulado GOATS (2011), baseado no livro homônimo. A direção ficou a cargo de Christopher Neil. Além de David, o elenco reúne Hopper Penn (filho de Sean Penn), Robin Wright, Josh Brolin, Robert e Jason Schwartzman. Parece que as filmagens estão previstas para abril. Se for assim, em abril DD estará bem atarefado, pois tem o lançamento de THE JONESES e as filmagens de CALIFORNICATION.

Ellis (Hopper Penn) is getting ready to leave his luxurious home in the foothills of Tucson for his freshman year at Gates Academy, an East Coast prep school. This means leaving behind Wendy (Robin Wright), his flaky, new age mother and the only real father he has ever known, Goat Man (David Duchovny).
Goat Man has done more for Ellis than giving him his first bong hit at the age of 11. He has maintained a home on Wendy's property rent-free since Ellis was a child, taking care of the landscaping and pool cleaning, and raising a small herd of goats -- all the while teaching Ellis the meaning of stability, care taking, and commitment.
Josh Brolin, Robert Schwartzman and Jason Schwartzman are also starring. The movie is expected to begin filming in April.

Fotos de David Duchovny chegando na cerimônia de entrega do PGA AWARDS (dia 24), no Hollywood Palladium, em Los Angeles. O evento premia os produtores de televisão e cinema. Californication estava entre os indicados, mas os ganhadores foram 30 ROCK e MAD MEN.

No último sábado, THE SEX FILES: A DARK XXX PARODY ganhou o AVN Awards de melhor paródia sexual, bem como Kimberly Kane, venceu como melhor atriz (?!).
Depois de tudo isso, não será surpresa se The Sex Files 2 estiver a caminho.

David Duchovny e Téa Leoni andaram pelo tapete vermelho do Golden Globe por debaixo de uma chuva básica. Essa foi a 67ª edição do globo de ouro.
Infelizmente, mais uma vez, o vencedor de melhor ator de série cômica foi o Alec Baldwin (30 Rock). Detalhe: o ator não compareceu ao evento.

O The Guardian elaborou uma lista das 50 melhores séries dramáticas da TV de todos os tempos. ARQUIVO X está nesse rol em 45º lugar na frente de BLEAK HOUSE. Achei de cunho duvidoso, Buffy ter ficado mais bem colocada (22º). Não é falando mal, mas Arquivo X, Bleak House, Pride and Prejudice (ohh, Mr. Darcy), 24 horas ou Oz, qualquer uma dessas, acho superior a Buffy.

Depois de um tempinho sem novidades sobre Gillian Anderson, eis que temos uma nova mensagem da atriz no GAWS e uma foto dela com Stuart Phillips postada no twitter. Na legenda dessa foto está escrito: “Styled Gillian's hair for the BAFTA's”.

Entrevista de David para o The German Tv Channel

O the German Tv channel publicou uma entrevista com David Duchovny na qual ele fala sobre o vicio em sexo e de como 2012 é o momento certo para um XF3. O ator também comentou que hoje seu trabalho é mais divertido do que nunca (talvez se referindo a CALIFORNICATION).

Right at the beginning a philosophical question: Is love complicated or are we the ones that make it complicated?
DD: Oh wow! I should have smoked a joint before the interview. Well, let's make it short: love is the easiest thing in the world. It's us who want to make it complicated or simple.

Last year you announced that you suffer from sex addiction and I think that was really brave. During that time did you think about giving up acting?
DD: Not for a second. There is my life and there is my work. These are two separate things. My family and me had a really difficult year.Today I am so happy as never. In the end I am grateful for these whole difficulties. Now this sounds like a cliché, but it is right: my wife and me went through it together and now we are stronger.

Is there anything that is better than sex?
DD: I was told that skiing should be better. Maybe that's true, but I don't go skiing. Sex makes me forget myself. Only the moment counts. Suddenly I am in another world. It can make me a part of something bigger than me. That can also happen while I'm acting and that was one of the reasons I wanted to become an actor.

What have you learned about sex during the last years?
DD: I didn't learn much about it. But I learned about people. Sex is like a red rag to people. Something that polarises very much. A specific example: There will never be a well-balanced or neutral discussion about sex. And I don't even want to have such a discussion. People easily get angry when it is about sex. If only because they can't say anything smart about it. That is why I mostly love talking about sex with people I love and respect. Sex has a lot to do with religion. Everybody reacts so fast and vehemently, sometimes quick on the trigger, sometimes excessively seriously. It's such an impossible topic, but wonderful at the same time.

And often a beloved topic for moraliser....
DD: Sex can't be unethical. Sex is as unethical as eating.

Did you stop learning by now?
DD: Yes, up to a certain degree. I like the way I work today. It's more fun than ever. I have to give even more but at the same time I have to prove less.

What about the future of the X-Files?
DD: I am looking forward to coming back. 2012 is the right time for the next X-Files movie. I know that Chris Carter and Gillian absolutely want to go on shooting more movies.

David em Nova York

Primeiro post do ano, aproveito para desejar a todos um feliz ano novo atrasado ;). Hoje, David Duchovny foi clicado enquanto passeava com o seu cachorrinho em Nova York.

DD foi o narrador de um comercial da pedigree e disse: "I love dogs. They live in the moment and don't care about anything except affection and food. They're loyal and happy. Humans are just too damn complicated."
